The Vaishnava-Sahajiya sect became preferred in seventeenth century Bengal. It sought spiritual knowledge throughout the five senses. The divine romantic relationship involving Krishna and Radha (guises in the divine masculine and divine feminine) were celebrated by Chandidas (Bangla: ????????) (born 1408 CE), Jayadeva (circa 1200 CE) and Vidyapati
